January 16, 201313 yr I've been using Non - O Visas based on having a child for the last few years. Now I need to renew my Visa and it isn't convenient for me at the moment to travel to Laos. I'm thinking of going to Aranyaprathet for a stamp. The question is can I extend this stamp for 60 days at immigration in Cheang Wattana based on having a child? Kind regards
January 16, 201313 yr Yes. From Police order 777/2551 2.24 In the case of an alien visiting a Thai spouse or child: Permission will be granted for a period of not more than 60 days at a time. (1) Proof of relationship. (2) In the case of a spouse, their marital relationship shall be de jure (legitimate) and de facto.
January 16, 201313 yr Author Thank you PS, I thought it was only possible when presenting a non o visa, not just a stamp.
January 16, 201313 yr Hope this is not a silly question: assuming that the OP is on a 90-day permission to stay, could that stay be extended?

January 16, 201313 yr Then it would seem that a border run is not necessary unless he has already extended his current stay.
