I promised him a ride...Not~ Got the tricycle but didn't get the key until 5pm... Safety precaution, delivery man and key man don't come together, just like credit cards. Already got the admiration, curious and the rants... " You're rich, you buy this and that..." Admiration..."you buy things that the village never see before..." Curious..."Great ! This is useful, how much ?...Where can i get this too ? " I started a few things in my village... Working smart is really an issue~ Very unlikely many will understand RBH Outside the box is always fraught with danger ! The prices of spare parts for ATV in this country is.......Ridiculous!!! Due to custom. (I don't mind expensive, but not ridiculous!!!) A brand new set of tires cost me a near ฿10k. A service after 3 years to change parts cost me ฿35k (yes worth it if i divided it by 3.) Now the ATV will not travel to & fro from the house anymore, i parked her in the farm so her parts can last longer.(I pity her, she served me well for the past 7 years.) The new electric tricycle will transport feed sacks from home to the farm, processed and load onto the trolley attach to the ATV to feed the monsters (Pla Duk)... When the trusted ATV breakdown, the E-tricycle will stand in as a replacement. I can't afford a vehicle breakdown when i need to transport 43 sacks of feed for a full ponds operation per day... Operation readiness is essential ! Edited February 12, 2014 by RedBullHorn
Popular Post shaggy1969
This may be of interest to any of the TVF rubber farmers. Maybe some of you remember that some time ago I posted a couple of photos of rubber sheets drying in the sun. When I was finished taking the photos I thanked the Old Lady of the farm for allowing me to take the photos. To my surprise she asked Mrs Shaggy and me if I would like to see more of the farm and the rubber processing area. Here are a couple of photos of the rubber sheets in their various states of dryness.Through the center of the room runs a tunnel that is made from half steel drums,at one end they light a fire and then seal the end off where the fire is lit. The heat and smoke has to exit by passing through the tunnel, heating the steel drums on it's way through.A simple but effective way of heating the room. I have some more photos on another disc. When I find them I will post them also.
