Popular Post RedBullHorn
I have... a few villagers here are customizing theirs to do just that. A villager can cut about 3-4 rai a day. I heard the invention originated from India. Edited September 19, 2015 by RedBullHorn

Popular Post TP1
Yesterday, I visited an agriculture centre, belonging to the government, near Khon Kaen As I was told they grow up plants and give them free to the farmers to help them expanding their planting varieties. My Thai, is not very good so I have to go next time with my g/f, so I can understand more about the project. Sounds very interesting.

Popular Post petitewife
Hello Everyone, OK had some Photos sent to me yesterday here offshore of one of our blocks, it is 33 rai of cane looking good. We tried a different mix of fertilizer this year and went in heavy with the Nitrogen more so than other years and we used less soil builder mix, and we visited the supplier and checked the quality of the product before it was loaded seems to have paid off, and buying it bulk we have noticed very little increase in our expenditure, we are not cutting for another 3 months and still looking healthy. We also changed our pre-emergent herbicide application and we used a light trash blanket which consisted of mulched organic material applied early after cutting with a fertilizer spreader. We are slowly working towards fully mechanised farming cutting out the human factor, we will laser level this block after cutting next year and we will go for managed flood irrigation which can be easily operated, we are in the process of arranging another dam for the block and bore with solar pumping, this will give us unlimited water and rain on demand basically, the second dam is for tail water runoff. We are still learning and adapting my knowledge of the Australian Sugarcane industry here in Thailand so I'll keep trying as results so far from our other blocks are promising over all we are looking for 15 to 18 tons per rai this year and looking at this particular block well on the way.
