Ron19
A sweetener for you, sugar crop off to a good start. This same patch got off to a good start last year but had to be plowed in during the drought and corn was planted when the wet season started. Another patch of sugar 200 metres down the road was heading the same way till the farmer bit the bullet and put a bore down. After one session of flood irrigation it picked up and now ready for harvest looks like one of the best crops I have seen for a while. I'll get a shot of that tomorrow and post it here. Ron19
Some of my effort this morning starting to clean up something the son started but didn't finish. Sprayed to kill off the weeds and what ever then left it for the weeds to come up again with the next rain. I have chipped down along this row and will take the rubbish across to a bare area on the right and burn it there. Will try and do one row a day should have all done before the end of the month. Possibly well before if I can get him off his back. Nearly lost all the bananas during the drought apart from a small section 100 metres down to the left. Most came back after the rainy season started. He had to replant around 25 -30.
