I sorted out these together with my MIL. All the beautifull strong looking red chili's where left to dry and the ugly one's had to be removed.

I remember it well: suwaai; mai suawaai; sawaai; mai sawaai.

Wow Guys....that was a great 'Duckathon' biggrin.png

Jimmy......don't think the young lad has got any Pekings but he does have a couple of nice white Campbell ducks.Pekings look very similar to Campbells but are slightly stockier and a little bit smaller.

I wouldn't worry too much about the one with less feather,by the looks of it it's flight feathers are just starting to grow and should have a good plumage soon thumbsup.gif

The photos show also two Muscovy ducks (pied colour with the red caruncles starting to come through) and the latest group of four are Khaki Campbells.

All the new ducks seemed much calmer today... "Shaggy duck" seems to like them... I am wondering about the curl in the tail...is it a he ? .....time will tell! smile.png

I'll stick to plants & flowers rather than try to tell the sex or type of ducks facepalm.gif

I don't know what it is about farm workers shelters but I find myself being drawn to them.

I came across this one whilst I was having a ride around the neighborhood.

Undoubtedly the highest one I have see so far on my treks.

Hmmmmmm,a ladder............quick check to see if there is no one around.

I have got to admit that once I was up there I didn't feel very safe,too much creaking and groaning form the old planks of wood that made up the floor.

...............but the view over the sugar cane fields was quite nice and worth the effort.

Getting back down was a little harder than I had imagined,I was sure that the rungs on the ladder were going to break and that I would end up flat on my backside...........all ended well thumbsup.gif

^ Shaggy.... looks like there is sugar cane growing near the shelter ... perhaps so they can get a birds eye view, when the cane gets tall... or perhaps the area subject to flash floods ?tongue.pnggreat pics though!
