Two questions:

  1. I understand for the 90 day report I do not have to come personally to immigration but I can send my office administrator. Is this correct? Does the 90 day report form need to be signed be me though (meaning if I send somebody on my behalf, I need to sign the form in advance)? If I send somebody else is there an appointment letter/Power of Attorney or something like this requirred?
  2. In order to renew my WP, do I require a new medical certificate?

In reality it does say on the 90 day reporting form that the person should come in person, however large companies have staff that can do this for the person in question. You must sign the reporting form that is all, as the Immigration staff will now your office admin person.

WP renewal requires a Medical Certificate, your office can give you the address of a cheap place.

Just looked at mine and nowhere does it say that they have to come in person. Just says - NOTICE: ALIEN MUST NOTIFY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE EVERY 90 DAYS Also, mail in reports would not be allowed if that were the case.

Re 2. many Labour Offices do not require a fresh medical certificate for WP renewals - best you check with your local office first.

I see my post is potentially slightly ambiguous, so to clarify - Some Labour Depts do not require a medical certificate to be produced for a WP renewal.

Yeap, I have never had to provide one, other than on the first application 11 years ago
