If anyone has ideas about a trip like that, they should try a little easier trip first. Say from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. If they are able to make that trip, they will be a bit more credible talking about a longer trip.

I have considered swimming from Thailand to Australia. I understand that many cruise ships do have swimming pools. I think my chances are better.

OP, more details might be useful. Are you planning to go via Siberia? Or via India and then across the Hindu Kush? Will we get some occasional updates on TVF?
