morning all,

I have a x3 Tourist Visa and need to extend the first one at Chiang Mai Immigration in the next week or so.

I know that you need copies of the picture page and visa along with photos, 1900B and completed TM7 but the threads I have read say a copy of my arrival card

I have a departure card (TM6) stapled in my passport but no arrival card

I know that I filled one out but would this not have gone to the immigration guy at the airport?

Is this a problem or am I worrying unduly

Just confusing terminology, the card is 2 parts, the immigration officer keeps the arrival portion because you are arriving, you will submit the departure card when departing Thailand. No problem for the extension.

Just make a copy of the departure card.

Immigrations keeps the arrival part when entering the Kingdom.

If you extend a triple you are most likely wasting your money assuming its good for six months.

If you extend a triple you get almost nine months if the visa is valid for six months and you enter soon after receiving it. Only if it were only valid for three months would not extending be a valid option.
