About Fitness Classes In Condos

Hi guys! I am new to Bnagkok ( Sukhumvit) and also to this forum. I am trying to loose some postpartum weight preferably through yoga/ dance class. I saw some buildings have their own fitness classes. Does your building have one? If yes, how much does it cost? If I plan to organize something for the whole building how do I go about it? If not how much would a personal fitness trainer cost? I am not into gymming, but love doing cardio to music.

Thanks Robbloc for clarifying my question. I am not looking for work but for someone who is qualified to conduct cardio workout classes. Has anybody organized something like that in their condos?

Here's a maybe, get a Thai friend / neighbor whatever to contact the PE faculty at Chandra Kasem Rajhabut Uni at Rachayothin Road, Bkk, and ask if they have a 3rd / 4th year student(s) who would be interested in part-time work.

I know of this happening before, maybe 4 years back, a couple of students came and did a good job, keen to apply their new knowledge, keen to please and owners / residents quite satisfied. But don't expect any English.

But clear all of this first with the condo management committee (owners committee) etc.

Hey scorecard. That's a good idea. I have a university campus right next door on soi 21. The students there speak English as well. Maybe they will have a PE batch too.

Later addition: The uni I mentioned has a large and highly regarded sport faculty and I know that the students from this faculty (and many more of course) must satisfactorily complete several periods of work experience before they graduate, and at this uni work experience is organized by the program heads. Maybe for this reason the program heads would always be looking for work experience opportunities.

Hate to rain on your parade, but do you have a work permit ?

You read something different into it then me. Sounds more like that he / she wants an instructor for a building so its cheaper.

She said; "If I plan to organize something for the whole building how do I go about it?" so I read it same as Jeffrey.

Where do you read that she wants to instruct everyone . there is no law against organizing something as long as your not making money of it or competing with Thais. In this case neither is the case. She just wants some Thai instructors to set up shop there.
