8milesfromhome
This is some footage we put together of the amazing Yi Peng Sky Lantern festival takes place in November every year across Thailand. Without a doubt the most concentrated amount of lanterns is released behind Mae Jo University in Chiang Mai.Over 10,000 'Khom Loi' Sky Lanterns are lit in unison after a Buddhist ceremony performed by respected monks. When the moment is announced the lanterns are launched and rise to unbelievable heights. Creating a stream of glittering jewels in the night sky.Visit 8milesfromhome.com/yi-peng to see some photos of the festival.Additional Photos are on our Facebook Page

pacman32
One of the most beautiful sites you can experience in my view.............a truly awe inspiring vision of wonder and a joy to behold. Chiang Mai really is the best place to experience Loy Kratong. Nice work guys, keep em coming.
EiranCikguLow
This is proof of good videography... I was at the Yee Peng ceremony at the temple... and was sorely disappointed (mostly due to the overwhelming number of visitors rather than believers) however they managed to capture the appeal of the ceremony... good job!
