Innocent Chat With Ex Or....translation Needed, Please

It was my hope to one day join this forum as I progressed in my study of Thai language and culture. It has always been a dream of mine to learn another language, and when I married my Thai husband last year I believed this was my opportunity (especially since we plan on visiting his village - Nong Khai - and family this summer). Instead, I am on this forum because I have found conversations with an ex-girlfriend on my husband's phone - one who he says he has no contact with. At the moment I have only a portion of the conversation. If anyone would be willing to translate for me, I would be really appreciative and/or willing to work out some sort of deal. Here is what I have:

(1) Female: หนึ่งโอนเงินไปยัง

(2) Male: โอนแล้วครับที่รัก ตื่นแล้วโทรหาหน่่ยน่ะมีเรื่องให้ช่วย

(There may be a couple lines missing here)

(12) Female: viber เดะจ๊ะ

(13) Male: เออ

(14) Female: line รับไม่ได้

(15) Female:

(21) Male: ครับ

*Also, there was a facebook post/comment from a different woman from my husband's past (she had tagged him in this post/comment), and I wanted to know what she said:

(22) Female: ไม่สวยเท่าแฟนของพี่โจ้หรอกค้ะ ^^"

Please contact me if you are willing and able to help, or post wherever is most convenient for you - I will check here daily. Thank you for your time!

There's some spelling errors but it's something like this-

1.F. Neung, have you transferred the money yet?

2. M Transferred already darling, (spelling error), I phoned( Nui?) last night I have something to help with

3. M What can I do to see you (your face)?

4.F Why do you want to see (me)?

5.F I've not showered yet.

6. M Me neither.

7.FWhy do you want to see (me), something in mind?

8.M. No

I'm not clear after this and I've no time but something like this the man asks why she won't accept, she says she can't, she asks if he'll phone again and he says the following day darling

22. Not as beautiful as the girlfriend of Pi Joe

canman - Thank you for your suggestion, but I have tried google, babylon, thai2english, etc., and they have not been helpful (except to see that he had used the word "darling" twice...)

bannork - Thank you so much! This certainly helps a great deal! I really appreciate your time and effort.

If anyone has the time, would they be willing to help with figuring out the rest? So far, I don't think this is looking very good... But I would rather know the truth.

One more additional message to translate (it relates to the beginning question/answer of "transferring the money")

There is someone in his contact list that has this number (not sure what this number refers to... phone? address?).

It is a bank account number and seems to be associated with a jewelry center specifically dealing with amulets or similar items. This is from a facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/pramaimarang.rut?filter=1

Tywais and Beano - Thank you! That makes sense... He collects Buddhas. I'm just not sure why he is so intent on seeing his ex-girlfriend's face, considering the fact that she had cheated on him and left him for another man. Sigh.

Anyone else making any sense of the rest of the translation?

Not quite right. The bank account is of a Mr. Smith Chantaweekij. It is an account with Kasikorn Bank (KBank) Jewellery Trade Center Building Branch. The recipient of the message is then asked to call and tell Smith how much and been transferred and for who, namely Rud. The message ends with a thank you.

My translation a little different from other poster. but i am not great with Thai

I see it like this:

1. Neung, you sent the money?

2. I sent it already darling. Are you awake yet? I can call you to help with it

3. I did it already, how can you check/see it? (how the money has arrived im guessing)

4. See/meet again? why?

5. I havent showered yet.

6. Same here. Same with me

7. I want to see you. Why? Do I have to wait?

8. No

9. Pick up

10. pep...?? not sure about this..maybe word imitating phone beeping?

11. Why dont you pick up?

12. the viber is dead..(dead battery?)

13.Urrr..hmm/oh/yes

14. Cannot pick up

15. Ok, ill telephone another time ok?

16. I can wait

17. for sure, we will have a chance soon darling

18. bye

19. Dont...not sure of last word/s.

20.. No, whatever you want / talk to you whenever/...hey?

21. yeah ok thanks

and

22. Certainly not as beautiful as Joes girlfriend

I guess you cannot read to much from our translation as a farang, maybe some Thai will make better work of this.

You do say that you want to know the truth..

well i did notice these things for sure..he definately talk to her about sending money and he does use the the word tee-rak, which you probably know is the word everyone did translate as darling.

Maybe that does not mean much to say teerak as i would guess many thai guys would still even call an ex this, but i do notice she does not say back to him

sorry if you have trouble with this..From my living experience having a relationships is !#$%%^^ hard in the west when you with your fellow person..sad to say, things can sometime be near to impossible here between thai and farangsad.png

wow, i would venture neither you nor your boyfriend appear very trustworthy.

going through somebody's phone is almost as low as cheating.

posting it on the interweb is just desparate

It's only a natural thing to do!

@OP: my opinion is that an intimate relationship between the two cannot be inferred from these conversations

and don't react on the little lie that he said he has no contact with his ex. Anybody with some experience would say the same, regardless if there has been a contact for whatever reason or not.

Candypants - Thank you for taking the time to offer your input... I would never go through my husband's phone without just cause. Needless to say, there is far more to this story than what I have posted. I would venture to say that jumping to conclusions while contributing nothing to the topic is also rather desperate. But I can see you are a good judge of what is "low", so thanks again!

Manarak - I agree with what you say based on these conversations... Granted, there were previous incidences that prompted me to seek a translation in the first place, but that's a whole other story! I really appreciate everyone who took the time to help me - thank you!!! I hope I will be back on this forum soon as a student of the language :)

Hi Kitty.

I agree with the previous translations. The gist I see in the 1st conversation is that he does call her dear/darling/tirak several times, and talk about seeing her (face), but that she is basically shutting him down as he pushes the line of what can be and what cannot.

The second conversation is pretty much all business and talking about money. Again, she is pretty business-like with him, and he seems a bit friendlier.

Good luck with this. It's never good when trust is an issue, or perhaps already broken. Like a vase, you can repair it, but it always shows evidence of what has already occurred.

The best resource on the net to translate thai script is http://www.thai-language.com/BulkLookup

It gets difficult with slang or when words are misspelt, both of which happen often

Most of it has been covered.

My Thai wife says that (22) states that this particular women is saying that you (his wife) are more beautiful than what she is.
