18 year old reports sexual assault by her Step-Father in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA:--In the early hours of Friday at Pattaya Police Station, two women aged 18 and 20 came to report an alleged sexual assault on the 18 year old woman by their step-father.

The victim and her elder sister were escorted to Banglamung Hospital for a medical examination. The pair then returned to Pattaya Police Station where they revealed that the alleged assault took place at the Step-Father’s family home in Soi 12 off the Central Pattaya Road.

Good for her (assuming its a genuine complaint of course). Can't be easy to stand up against a preying family member. If we take the report at face value the mother should be locked up too!

Why should the girl's mother be locked up? Because she left her adult daughters with their step-father, where the one who was assaulted apparently had her own bedroom?

And why would you suggest that the complaint may not be genuine?

If your post is taken at face value you should be locked up too.

You did make a good point!!!!

Considering where this happened???? I would be a little suspicious, in my opinion..... wai2.gifwai2.gifwai2.gif

Just thinking...if the alleged perpetrator is 33 yo. and the girlfriend/wife would be of same age than she would've had the daughters in the ripe age of 13 and 15...which leads me to think that she supports her Somchai.

For this very reason I have kept my adopted daughter away from her various uncles and stepfather. When explaining the reasoning, my family agreed and no way thought I was out of line which makes me wonder that this kind of behavior must be rampant in LOS.

Just don't bugger kids,

Kids? Just another thread was about an 18 year old KID that was beaten to pulp in Phuket. In my country you are young adult when 18 and in full legal rights when 21.

I would not call 18 yo. a kid...although wonder what kind of an attack this has been. Hope she was not hurt too bad.

Because I assumed that the mother insisted she stay in the house even though the daughter had complained to her of her husands behaviour.

Because you cannot take anything at face value in the Thai press.

My post was meant to be balanced, but obviously you took it differently!

As common as dirt, as so many articles attest.
