stevehaigh
i just watched life of Pi at home last night, WOW, what a movie, great story and unbelievable visuals, easily as good as Avatar (i think as i only saw it on my tv) i'd love to see it on the big screen, especially in 3D. does anyone know if its coming to Phuket?

KarenBravo
Downloaded the torrent a couple of days back, but, haven't seen it yet. Hard to believe that it will do justice to the book even though Ang Lee is one of my favourite directors.

stevehaigh
Is this the movie you're talking about ? yes, something like that. not in in phuket as far as i can see. looks like i missed that boat. this is the basic problem with movies, they are never on when you want to see them. no wonder downloading is better. movie theaters should give you a choice when you go in, which movie you want to see out of everything ever made. just like TPB. Guest
I watched the movie today. **SPOILERS below** It was an visually beautiful story.. but. what about the meaning of it? The feeling of the story was that it tried to show that all the religions are after all the same. All religions have good points which sometimes differ from other religions. At the end of the movie, after shown the secondary ending, there was an questions "Which story do you prefer". The religious one (tiger), or the which was more likely the truth (4 men on the boat).. and then combination of these two which was explained by the novelist. So, was this an Intelligent design movie?
