(on Samui) No one was eating.... but this is the view... OK for those with money to spare! Yummy menu....easy to cook, here you pay all those things maybe 60-70 Euro, but have to cook by yourself. Ok, once in a while, would be all right, imported beef and seafood direct to you in Samui, plus great view...wow. ENVY JING JING KHA.
Kathy2014
I seldom shot food photos...dont know why, might be, it's not easy to make food delicious.... Or would you prefer Tea...from south thailand, called Cha Chak....this photo was shotted in Bkk...Central Pinklao Dept. Coffee or tea, or some delicious cakes....( Cake from Hua Hin , Villa Dept.)...luch is coming up...

Popular Post sunshine51
In many of the commercial food photo's one see's in magazines & other print media the food isn't real...it's plastic. A Japanese company makes this stuff and it's far more expensive than the real food dish! Back in 95 I shot a Walls Ice Cream advert on Langkawi...the people were real, it was awfully hot, the ice cream cones were real but the ice cream inside the cones was fake. The vapour coming off the cones ws created with dry ice embedded in the fake ice cream. Sure looked yummy but the goop was in all reality...lethal if eaten! An Australian lady was hired to make the stuff...she holds the patent on it....makes loads of $$$. Why wasn't the real stuff used? It would have melted in less than 30 seconds. For food shots...real food has to be covered in oil to make it "look" appetising and that dry ice is buried in there somewhere where the camera cannot see it to give that look of steam rising up from the grub. There's more tricks to the job but you'd loose your appetite if I mentioned em.
Guest
sunshine: please continue. That's really interesting. I don't mind if I would loose my appetite (and few pounds on the process.)
samuijimmy
^ It's like the Malaysian Tourist TV commercial where the show two people sitting in front of a phony Raffleasia... which I am pretty sure is plastic... if you ever get to see one, you are never allowed to get that close! Anyway moving on... Here we have some Russian food being sold on Maenam's Samui's Walking Street... This lady looked like she did not like it ....
