Spellchecking On Different Computers

Featured Replies

Just back home from Thailand.

While there (Thailand) I used my netbook computer.

What was different for me was that the Thai Visa spellchecker worked on it.

Back home and using a desktop ... not working, or more likely, disabled.

Spelling is not my forté ... so a spellchecker is a great benefit for me.

How do I turn my spellchecker on?

... if this is better over in the Computer Forum, please more it there ... wasn't sure the best home for the question.

Thanks in Advance.

I don't believe Thai Visa has a spell checker option David. It must have been enabled on the notebook's browser.

Type a few characters in the 'Reply to this topic' area of Thaivisa, Right click on the characters, make sure 'checkspelling' is checked in the drop down menu.Select 'languages' and select language required. Note select the language again even if it appears selected already. This has worked for me in the past.

There is also a setting in Firefox 'options', 'advanced' of 'Check my spelling as I type'. This may need selecting.

The forum software we use has no spelling checker install. It's up to you to enable spell checker and configure it in your browser settings.

Cheers

Maybe this helps
