i come from italy and i have a non immigrant b visa expiring on march. what should i do to renew it? and how much it will cost?

i tried to search some information but im really confused.

On what basis was your visa issued? That is key to what will be required. If for work you will need work permit and company paperwork and can you obtain an extension of stay from immigration?

no no i am not working... im studying here! the school sent me the documentation for getting the non immigrant visa... they said i can get an extension of 1 year paying 18000 baht.. i dont know what they do. i would like to know if theres a cheaper way to get the renew...

Only if have 4thai employees and paid up social and taxes...

The normal visa for a student would be ED not B. And extensions of stay cost 1,900 baht if done legally. Perhaps that 18,000 figure was for school fees? You can study on a tourist visa if you must but that can not be extended within Thailand

its complicated because they are not a real school... they teach technology. the 18000 i think they are paid to some language school or something like that

Is your visa a single entry or multiple? If it is a multiple you can make a border run just before it expires and get another 90 day entry.

Even with a B visa you can get an extension of stay to study with proper documents from a school.

Dependent on the course of study it will be either an extension of 90 days or one year.
