beachroadlover2
For as long as I can remember, I always saw a range of safes at Big C for under 1000 baht. Today, no more. Home Pro has a few but quite expensive. Tesco Lotus has none. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

topt
Unless it is very small (in which case it can be picked up and easily carried away unless concreted in) I can't imagine it will be very safe at that price?

Popular Post jbrain
For less than 100 Baht you can buy a nice looking cardboard box. It will have the same security and safety properties as a 1000 Baht safety box and probably will be much bigger.

I suspect I know the ones you are referring too, these have been around for over a decade and often badged under many names, obviously made in China, and indeed they are not difficult to open. As a locksmith I have made a lot of easy money opening these safes...

Basil B
The cheap ones come with a free tinopener in case you forget the combination. Not that easy, they are 5mm+ steel construction.
Chivas
I'd certainly never have a Safe "installed" in a Pattaya Home. Somchai has a bad month and produces a list of Safes installed !! Red rag to a Bull !!

Not that easy, they are 5mm+ steel construction. I prefer the YouTube video where the guy opens one of these "safes" with a potato Edited February 8, 2013 by OMGImInPattaya
