cgphuket
Hello, I have a question I have not seen answered here. I currently have a 90-day non-im b work visa and have been issued my work permit. I will get a 1-yr extension of stay when this ends. I want to get a multiple reentry permit so I can do monthly r&r out of the country. Does the rentry last the the length of the work permit (1 yr) or the length of my current visa (90-days). If I get a reentry now, do I need to pay again when my visa is extended? Thanks for any help.
Maestro
A re-entry permit is always valid for the period of your current permission to stay. If you get one now, it will be valid for the remainder of your 90-day permission to stay. After you get a one-year extension of stay and then get a new re-entry permit, it will be valid until the end of your new, one-year extension of stay.
