Rimmer Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Chinese Tourist rescued after Paragliding into a Tree PATTAYA:--Paragliding and Chinese tourists don’t seem to be a good mix this week in Pattaya City, as a second Chinese visitor ended up in an accident, this time caught in a surprise blast of wind as he was newsjsabout to land on the beach, and instead found himself up a tree, literally, stuck in the branches with his parachute wrapped around a security lighting pole Emergency services were called to the scene to find 44 year old Mr.Zhongping Bai suspended amid the branches and had to climb quite a way up to recover him. Takes a very 'particular skill' - found only in Thailand - for a boat to plant a para-sailor atop a pole, several meters away from the beach.
