How To "test" Maid Experience

Featured Replies

i will facing very soon the "problem" with too little time

since the mother only gets 3 Months Mother-holiday and i have also pretty much a 14 hour job.

i have seen alot of nanny/maids so far in thailand .. but about 99,9% of them i would never let near my child.

so this question is, how to select one ?

and how much to pay for ?

does anyone has some experiences in getting things like this done ?

cheers Mario

Does your wife have any family that may be able to do the job. I know our first point of call is my wife's niece. Outside of family a little luck is always going to be part of the process.

I would sit down and talk to the prospective nanny and if happy, spend a day/week with her taking care of your child in your company and see how it goes. When you're comfortable, you'll be happy to leave your child in her company.
