Thailands Pure Image

Featured Replies

Which news article do you think...as a reasonably well adjusted, educated person with moral standards and a dab of common sense....would be the worst for thailands image that they seek to hold higher than the rest of the worlds.

this one...

this one...

or this one

From a shock standpoint, the first two are the most damaging, even to readers who have little or no experience of the country.

The Nok Air one takes the prize for illustrating the levels of hypocrisy here, but you do need some experience of the place to really understand that one.

Change the details a little and any one of those articles could have been written about any country in the world.

As an educated person with a little common sense, I realize news agencies all over the world have various agendas and telling stories about normal life and the 95+% of decent, ordinary people isn't high on their list of priorities.

Thailand,Thai people.

Pure as driven snow.

Thailand doesn't care about it's image any more than the Chinese do.
