Mrjlh
Just popped up in my T.V. message box? I blocked out the name but will gladly post it if I get another message for (her) them. Now maybe some really lonely desperate and very gullible man out there might accept your offer but I'm sorry. I'm not interested. A person must really be dumb not to read that this not a scam. Oh wait...it was on the Internet so it must be true and not a lie. So... TV administrators and mods how do you propose stopping this scam? Popular Post craigt3365
Sounds like the same scam that originated in Nigeria some years back....would you believe some actually believed it and replied....lost money as well. You won't believe this. I was in a bank a few months ago in the US. Some guy was getting into an argument with the bank manager over something. It got heated and loud. It was an older guy, filipino wife, saying he needed to transfer money to somebody as they needed the money to help secure a million dollar "whatever". Inheritance or lottery winning or something like that. This guy was going to transfer 10k, and was being promised 100k USD in return in 1 month. He got this via an email. Eventually, everybody in the bank was following the conversation and literally yelling at this guy to no do it. He was hard headed and wanted to do it. Not sure what eventually happened as we left, but this guy was serious about sending money overseas for this scam. As P.T Barnum supposedly said, "there's a sucker born every minute".
David48
^^ I read somewhere that the Nigeriaian guys actually keep the scam easy ... dumb it down so that then they get a bite, they know that it's easy meat to reel in ... as your story aboves sort of confirms ...
