7-11's Offering Real Coffee

Featured Replies

At least my local one has just set up a real coffee station with reasonable prices.

Hope it's a trend that most will follow.

One remark, please re-size your pictures before posting (800x600 is large enough)

They have a similar setup at the 7-11 opposite Sam Sen station (BK) but they also have a big isle full of fresh cakes & pastries which was hugely popular! It would be nice to see more of them.

Do they have tables and chairs where one can sit down and enjoy the coffe, or is it takeaway and one have to drink the coffe whilst walking or sitting on the sidewalk? unsure.png

Coffee snobs. rolleyes.gif

Coffee outside 7/11 is good, chang outside 7/11 is bad. rolleyes.gif

chang outside 7/11 is bad

I don't see anything wrong with that. smile.png

Drink it inside, enjoy the aircon thumbsup.gif

That's great! Those machines don't come cheap, and nor do the grinders. I know because I had one in a bar I owned some years back. Prices look good too, although the cold coffee prices are cut off in the pic. A capuccino here costs between €2.50 and €5, so 35 baht is pretty good considering the cost of the kit. Mind you, a 7-11 isn't the most comfortable of venues to enjoy a good coffee...

Yes! Just another small reminder why living in Thailand is preferable. I drink A LOT of coffee during the day. Espresso, americano, filtercoffee, instant coffee. I definitely spend a few hundred dollars each month on coffee and not because I am a snob or anything. 35 baht for an espresso is a very reasonable price compared to most other countries.

Give me an Oliang with a nip of sam song from Chart at the entrance to our estate anytime over that poncey bilge...

Whats with the @ glasses of P1ss in the last picture ???blink.png

A shot of Piss for 35 baht, buy 1 get 1 free ( promotion)smile.png

Good luck then getting a seat among the tution gang. :(

Now if only they'd put a shot of Sangsom in my latte!

The machine is only used during days when alcohol sale is prohibited. It's not tea in the glasses, it's actually Sang Som. smile.png

What's wrong with sitting on the sidewalk, same as with a Chang?
