Drunken English youth falls asleep on a bar roof, his father is less than impressed.

A bizarre incident now from The Village on Pattaya Third Road. Police were called to the location by a house owner, Khun Rachanee who complained that a foreign man had fallen asleep on the roof of a bar located next to her house. Police and rescue workers arrived to find the boy, thought to be aged around 15, fast asleep on the roof. The English boy’s father arrived after a female friend of the young man alerted him to the problem. He climbed a ladder and attempted to coax his son off the roof, without success.

Eventually two motorbike taxi drivers climbed up and helped him down and, as you can see, he was completed disorientated and heavily intoxicated. He came down and was handed back to his father who was very angry with his son. They left the scene and begun to fight but were left alone to sort out the problem between themselves. Eventually they left the village and made their way back to their hotel. Police decided not to charge the boy with anything and allowed them to leave.

Saw two lads in a gogo bar the other week.

One was about 14 and the other about 12.

The girls were making sure they were 'well looked after'.

:D

And dad was happy feeling up another girl near the bar.

Pattaya... Pattaya..... :o:D:D

Bringing 15 yrs old boy to Pattaya?...unthinkable! :o

Though I wouldn't do it myself, I wish my Dad had brought me to Pattaya at 15! :D

What`s wrong with taking a fifteen year old boy to Pattaya? :D I have had my son over every year since he was 14 and he`s been looking forward to his next trip to Pattaya ever since.

Of course it`s all up to yourself weither you want to bring your offspring in to the sleaziest places in town or not, but hey, there is loads of other things to do for a fifteen year old boy.

As for now when he`s in his late teens I`m glad that he has experienced Pattaya gradually, avoiding the "culture" shock :D

Why was a 15yo boy left on his own in Pattaya....The kid is a minor....he shouldnt have been in a bar without parental supervision and he should not have been drinking alcohol.

There is a he11 of a lot wrong with this situation....imagine the outcry here if it was a 15yo girl... :o

Dunno what time of day it was, so hard to say.

I know at that age when I was younger I was given free reign, course normally playing sports or found in the pub. :o

And when you think that that there are more younger girls offering their...passion for people older than the average on this forum...unless the kid could be bitten or offered drugs...trust me, nothing unpleasant would happen to him :D:o

Yeah, I should have clarified, I did mean to the go go bars and getting them a girl and such.

I can still remember being 15 and being in our hometown didn't stop me from getting drunk, so I wouldn't fault Pattaya for it. This kid just didn't have a friend's place to crash at till it wore off, so he found a comfy place and went to sleep. Normal 15yr old behaviour, but unfortunately he made himself famous. :o

ah, not blaming Pattaya for getting him drunk, I'm sure we all had our cider and super brew days. :D

But still, go go bars and go go girls and the people inside them I'd kinda like me kid to avoid at 15. If only for the sake he might be a bit too young, dumb and full of cum to wear a condom. :o

Not best place for a kid is it. :D

The English boys father took him back to the hotel...

This is not a local Thai kid....but a tourist.....A 15yo english tourist should not be hanging around bars and getting drunk in Pattaya....

I dont fault Pattaya....I do fault the father who didnt exercise his parental responsibilities....

Have we forgotten what the legal age is to enter a bar in Thailand???

What I see here is "he is a boy so it is ok".....Sorry people but it is not OK!!!...He should have been looked after by his father...what if he had wandered pissled across 3rd Road and got hit by a car....whose fault is it then...??? This time he was ok...next time???....who knows???

Agree the parent is irresponsible and should be arrested and deported back for a chat with UK social services, the bar owner should be fined...whats the going rate to serve up alcohol to any kids under 20 in a BAR.....£5k maybe.... and the wain-kid ...now just another -% product of a minor but negative social statistic :D just like so many others in the "me-me" generation...yeah... just a bit of fun..... :D

Bad parenting is to blame. Mind you the young lad is a bit thick. Never occurred to me at that age to get legless and up a ladder to have a kip on someone's roof. :o

The man's got a point, this is absolutely true, you wouldn't imagine what kind of party ideeas some kids have, I don'tthink it's good but I don't think that we should make such a debate for the matter...it's not a crime being drunk at 15 yo...

Just saw the clip on the Pattaya City news. Father & son look like a matched set. Wonder where the lad learned his habits from ?

He wouldn't come off the roof for his dad, but came down when helped by 2 moto-taxi drivers ?

They showed the lad, very drunk, patting the arm of the BIB that has assisting him, while the father was talking to the bar owner and repeating over and over that there was no damage to her roof (seemed to be his main concern).

They didn't show the part where the proud dad and son started fighting.

Ah the joys of Pattaya !

Kerry - don't think there would be much of a fight. Lad would be pummeled thats prob why he didnt want to come down. :o

it is against the law in Thailand to be underage in a licenced premises as it is in his own country...

He wasnt too pleased to see Dad so he knew he was deep in it....but that doesnt absolve the Dad from his responsibility....no matter what the situation between Dad and son.
