Tourist Visa - Forgot The 60 Day Reporting At Immigration.

Featured Replies

Need a bit of help if possible?

I have a 60 day tourist visa which I was going to get renewed at immigration tomorrow (22nd) for the additional 30 days, however just noticed that it was today that I needed to go.

Main question is it worth me going all the way to immigration tomorrow or will they just turn me away or will turn a blind eye as so to speak?

Does it also mean the visa is rendered as useless now?

The way I understand it, for a short overstay, pay the 500 Baht per day fine and apply for the extension. I don't know why you guys wait until the last day, you don't lose anything by going a few days early.

er above, you will pay 500 baht overstay fine and get an extention for 1,900 baht.

Thanks for the info that's a relief. Usually leave it till the last day so you get the maximum out of your visa.

Doesn't matter because you can do the extension up to 7 days earlier and get the same date, you don't lose any days.

I did my extension 10 days early.

As said, you do not lose anything by going early.
