Anyone else notice whenever one buys something in Boots Chemist in Emporium they always get the price higher at the till than marked on the shelves?

I have had it happen three times in a row over different months on the few occasions I go there. Something as simple as buying nothing except a 10 baht stick of Dentene chewing gum (clearly marked as 10 baht on shelf) is charged for as 12 baht at counter bar code swipe. Whenever I point it out to cashier they shrug and charge the correct price as marked on shelf. Just rather annoying Boots!

Maybe something to do with the barcode scan thingy being input incorrectly.
