Want to see how Glass actually feels? It's surprisingly simple. Say "take a picture" to take a picture. Record what you see, hands free. Even share what you see, live.

Directions are right in front of you. Speak to send a message, or translate your voice. Get the notifications that matter most. Ask whatever's on your mind and get answers without having to ask.

All video footage captured through Glass.

Welcome to a world through Glass. See more athttp://www.google.com/glass/start

Stunned people think these are cool or a good idea. Imagine how you feel if strangers have a camera turned on you and filming you while you eat at a restaurant....walk down the street....etc. Well get ready for it...assume someone will be videoing you all the time...every time you pick your nose or scratch you ass, count on seeing it up on Youtube with a load of snarky comments.

not too different from the current situation now. When u see someone holding their smartphone facing you. You dont know if they are using the video camera or just holding the phone.

With face recognition software it would eliminate the awkward networking event situation where someone greets you and you have no clue who that is... :D

Ray-Ban and Oakley are working with Google Glass

BY RICHARD LAWLER @RJCC MARCH 24TH, 2014 AT 5:18 PM ET

Google only recently announced versions of its Glass headset attached to conventional specs and sunglasses (shown above), but a new partnership with Luxottica -- the company behind brands including Oakley and Ray-Ban -- will give it a significant boost. Described as a strategic partnership to "design, develop and distribute" Glass eyewear, it promises headsets "that straddle the line between high-fashion, lifestyle and innovative technology." Oakley has shown off its own heads-up display equipped goggles already, and one wonders if the two projects will merge or continue separate development. Andrea Guerra, CEO of Luxottica Group, says his company is proud to "set the pace in the eyewear industry once again," but offers few details on how or when that will happen, with more info to be released later.

and it would seem google glass users are fondly being referred to as galssholes

The term GLASSHOLE is being used by google on its site, to educate people on the ethics of the new tech. Now, whether that works...well I doubt it! You are not a glasshole by just wearing glass.
