Perhaps this is a silly topic, but I need to make my mind up somehow. I have

been deliberating for a good 4 months or so on whether I should change the

plastics on my 2012 model to those of the newer bike....

I have posted a couple of pictures below to help you to submit your vote.

The panels are cheap as chips, so only click 'keep it the way it is' if you

simply think the greener bike looks better. :)

keep it the way it is!!

it's a matter of personal taste, but the full green looks better..

A Kawasaki should be as green as possible sick.gif ( hear me... owning a black and white KLX whistling.gif )

decisions decisions.............good luck

Id make the center triangle at the front of the green fairing black.

It'll make it look mean, so mean you'll be afraid to ride it.

oh and id put tank pads on the side of the tank, that textured carbon fiber sticker stuff looks good, not ghetto at all.

But if you change the fairing your going to need a new tank as well because the green isn't the same.

It's the same green.

How much would all these parts cost?

When I had all the plastics priced for a color change on the 2009-2011 it was 14k.

I would just find a god paint shop and have them paint the cowling (the bit around the headlights).

If I were to change the color I would go for the blue\black.

I can actually just buy the slats and not have to buy the whole fairing. They cost approx 200Baht a side.... cheap as chips.
Mud guard around 800baht. Plus i get to keep all the original plastics should the next owner prefer the stock look :)
I wouldn't trust a Thai to colour match a candy paint job ever, it would be better to paint the whole bike.
the 2013 and 2012 bikes share the same green paint, it's my fault for uploading two completely different lit photos. :D

Ah ok then go for it wink.png

If the greens are the same why not mix it up a bit + like you said

you will have the stock stuff to go back & forth with if the mood hits ya.

I had considered wrapping the white side fairings on mine & going more

for the solid red look of the Indonesia model

but none here in Thailand have a red that is an exact match as the Kawasaki

Passion Red

Maybe I will do like you & check out the price of plastic.
