gregchambers Posted March 5, 2006 Share Posted March 5, 2006 if they do I will not be using the retirement visa option, too much money to tie up in a Thai bank account with too much downside. having said that, even if you have a decent passport countries like Oz and USA require ridiculous sums for retirement/investment visas. That was the reason I asked the question here on thaivisa.com. However, my visa is due to be renewed on the 18th of this month. I will take the opportunity to ask the immigration officers myself and will post the response so that everyone interested will know what the situation is. I'd go back to my country every 6 mounts. I'd save much money , and no one bath in a any thai bank. The axagerate things are never good. Anyway same as I said before. Don't care about the rumors.
