Phitsanulok - Car Rental From Airport

Featured Replies

Hi folks. I'm traveling up from my home in Phuket to Kampaeng Phet in a few months (to visit the outlaws). I don't want to drive up, so my plan is to fly to Phitsanulok and rent a car at or near the airport and then drive the 30k or so to the house in K'phet. I don't have a credit card (only a debit card) and these larger companies say in their TOS that a credit card has to be provided. So, I was wndering if anyone could recommend a rental company near the airport that does not have this requirement, like a small independent company (I have googled without success).

If this is in the wrong sub-forum, would someone please report it to a mod and ask it to be moved to the correct one. I would like it to stay in a community (local) sub-forum.

Thanks - Ping

There is a small independent stall at PHS airport, Ping, and he takes cash.

Nice guy and rented from him a few times.

His stall is on the right hand side as you come out of arrivals - next to Avis.

Hope this helps.
