have been looking at this place-

http://www.banjedyod.com/EN/roomrate.html

this place looks a little out of town, is it a long ride from town? can i take quiet back streets to town - i dont wanna be going on a scooter on some 4 lane super highway lol

looking for neat clean studio room, maybe something near uni, wifi, preferably a place with a pool, dont want to spend more than say 9,000 a month to still leave a little cash to pay for elec etc, also needs to be a place that lets rooms by the month or maybe 3 month lease

http://www.chiangmaiapartmentrental.com/p3.html will be available for 9,000 baht however All prices include maid service, pickup at your gate on arrival, all utilities including internet, cable TC, DVD, water, electicity and linens.

9,000 per month if rent for one month? how often maid clean room? security deposit? is inside moat of old city?

Significantly out of town and will require negotiating some Super Highway driving. Close to several universities, but not sure which one you're talking about.
