Receiving Gmm Channels On True Dish?

Has anyone tried to use a GMM box and a True box at the same time, via a splitter, from the same True dish?

I really want GMM sport extra. The satellite guy I know says he can do, but some channels unavailable due to the frequency. Something I find odd, as I thought they marketed it during the euros that it was on the same satellite, so no need for a new dish. One of my friends used it in the bar he had, but maybe things have changed now since channel reallocation and pay T.V introduced.

Would appreciate anyone's views on how they got on with this before I subscribe to the channels and buy a splitter.

Many thanks.

It's all to do with polarity switching of the LNB (the bit in the middle of the dish).

To make everything work you need to get a dual LNB (with two connectors) and hook one box to each output.

NOTE that you can hook several True boxes to one dish and LNB with a simple splitter as all the True channels are on the same polarity.
