DiNiro
Looks like the Navy is towing more Rohingyas out to sea. Burmese asylum seekers rescued by Sri Lanka’s navy last week said they floated at sea for 25 days and 97 people died of starvation after Thailand’s navy intercepted them and forcibly removed their boat’s engine. The Thai navy has denied the allegation. http://asiancorrespondent.com/99467/rohingya-asylum-seekers-thai-military-removed-engine-resulting-in-97-dead/ CNNs Dan Rivers exposed this situation a few years ago in an award winning coverage of their plight. http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/06/03/thailand.refugees.documentary.cnn.award/index.html (later, Dan Rivers was run out of town)
