Thaksin Is A Thai!

As any right thinking person knows Mr. Shinawtra is only out for himself. Is he just being Thai?

Thaksin ignores laws that are awkward. Thais ignore laws with the knowledge that a few baht in the right direction will solve matters.

Thaksin sees money as 'the guiding light'. Thais view wealth as payment for good deeds.

Thaksin balks at any criticism. (remember his tears when it came clear that his daughter had been accepted into university with her low score). Thais are incapable of coping with the mildest of criticism without plunging into elaborate denial.

Thaksin is prepared to plunge the country into turmoil to cover his lies and 'save face'. Thais will say or do anything to 'save face'. I know of two cousins who almost drowned rather than say they could not swim.

It seems to me that Thaksin is a bad man. However one cannot deny that he is being Thai.

It seems that Thai people have worked out that he has gone from rich to wealthy beyond most dreams and now they are mad at his lies.
