Heart Rate Monitor

Featured Replies

Anybody know where I can buy a heart rate monitor here in Pattaya? I checked the mall but nobody seems to have one. I'm talking about the kind that combines a strap around your chest along with a readout on your wrist.

Thanks

I have seen cheaper ones at Fascino. Nothing as elaborate as what you describe though.

I just saw some tdday in Boots the Chemists. This was Bangkok, but would expect to see them in all branches.

There is a 'POLAR' dealer in BKK. They could mail one to you in Pattaya.

A while ago I saw some in the sports shop in Central - Sports World or Sports Stadium or whatever it's called... They were on display in a kind of perspex display cabinet sitting on top of a counter. From what I recall they had 3 or 4 models to choose from.

I'm sure they have POLAR watches / monitors in the sports shop in Central festival. Also available in Marathon sports on the Sukhumvit (gym equipment shop roughly opposite BKK-Pattaya Hospital)

I bought a omron HEM-7111 from supercheap. It is a cracker and I have used it for more than a year with no problems. It came with a free digital thermometer and was around 1200 THB.

All the major sports shops have them. I've seen the Garmin brand in the Central sports shop.
