If I were to made a reservation for a bus to Buriram on July 1st for example, do i have to pay on 1200 midnight on July 1st or can i pay a few hours before the departure of the bus?

when you book you will be given a deadline by when to pay for ticket. This will depend on your status, the route/class of bus and how you contact them. Only longtime trusted and wellknown customers get to pay just before dept.

I think you CAN only try to-reserve up to 1 month before.
