Wade Mckee or BD as I know him just died suddenly about 3 hours ago, as I was just informed by his wife. I've contacted the British Embassy in Bangkok and Britain. Anyone who wants to contact me please call 0885573084. Thank you.

The British Embassy has contacted his wife but now must contact a sister living in England in order to see if she wants the body to be brought back to England or not before anything can be done here. His wife does not know where the sister is living so if anyone has any information about any of his relatives please call me or the British Embassy so that we can put this man in his final resting place ASAP. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your condolences even though you did not know him. He had just visited me 3 days ago, looked fine, and for the first time he drank a can of beer, much to my surprise because I didn't have soda water. He told me that he took pills because of high blood pressure and I told him that I do the same. He left and said come and visit me when you can. I will, at his Funeral tomorrow.

RIP. And to Apache, sorry about the loss of your friend, i hope he was happy in his final years.

Thank you. He was as far as I know quite happy and never said anything negative about anything here in Thailand. I think that he knew that he had health problems because he had promised to come and visit me but cancelled out 3 times because of back pain and it would be painful to come and visit me. On the 4th visit he apologized for making so many excuses, asked me for a soda, which I didn't have, but took a can of beer instead much to my surprise because as far as I knew he didn't drink alcohol. He mentioned his high blood pressure,of which I have also, but didn't go any further than that. His wife told me today that he had said that he wasn't feeling well and shrugged off going to the Doctor until he got back to England. He was leaving next month for England and perhaps he thought that he could wait for a visit to the Doctor there. Why he chose to do do this I'll never know but perhaps it's a message for all of us to learn. See a Doctor before it's too late. RIP BD
