I am currently in the U.S. taking some Education courses at
my local University before returning back to Thailand this May. Mostly as a way to kill time.

One of the classes I am taking is Early Childhood
Education. The primary purpose is to
teach children from basically from Toddler level to Kindergarten level the
basics of learning and stimulating their learning in order to prepare them for
P1 on wards.

Does Thailand have such a program commonly referred to as
Head Start or Early child hood education and the main purpose of the program is
education is socialization and introduction to the educational structure
(example: schedules) and expectations.

Anyway, I am just
asking if anyone knows of a program like this in Thailand?

Good day;

Where I work, the school has Nursery level, which starts when students are 2 1/2 years old. It is pretty 'classroom' oriented, but there are classes, songs, worksheets and a playroom with toys. After Nursery they go to KG 1, the next year to KG 2, then KG 3 and finally G. 1. They have been in school for a long time before they start 'school'.
