wca01
If one has an account with a Thai broker, instead of an account with a Thai bank, count the invested money in the SET as cash money for the Immigration? wca
Thetyim
A difficult question to answer. I had my money in the Thai Military Bank Asset Management and the immigration would not accept it. The rules, I believe, state money in a bank account in Thailand. I argued the point and eventually they agreed to accept it as it was a bank. You will probably find, as usual, that each immigration officer will interpret the law their own way
