The RBS Six Nations tournamentreaches its climax this Saturday when Wales meet England at the Millennium
Stadium in Cardiff. England simply have to win to gain their first Grand Slam in 10 years. However, should Wales beat them by

more than 7 points, the title will stay in Cardiff. Were Wales to win by exactly 7 points, it goes on try count

and currently Wales have scored two more tries than England) A tantalising prospect for both countries!

The game will be shown LIVE at The Olde Bell British Pub on Loi Kroh Rd (Next door to the Raming Lodge Hotel and

behind the Yellow coloured exchange booth)

Kick-off is at midnight and if you buy a bucket of 3 beers (or the equivalent in wines or spirits), we’ll provide you

with FREE British chips (not frozen – cooked straight from potatoes) and sandwiches at half time to sustain you!

We’ll also be showing the Italy v Ireland clash at 9.30pm and for soccer fans, we’ve got the Everton v Man City game at 7.45pm

and the Swansea v Arsenal match which kicks off at 10pm.

Join us at any time this weekend and we’ll give you a free lottery ticket. At 11pm on Sunday 17th March there’ll

be a prize draw for two 500 Baht Olde Bell food and drink vouchers!

It's going to be a close game. not for the faint hearted. If you want to see great quality technical rugby, pop in this afternoon and watch Crusaders v Bulls, but for sheer blood and guts and passion the Wales v England game is a must watch, certainly England are the favourites Sam Sip Et, but at the Millennium, with the roof closed (as I gather it will be) keeping in the roars of 60,000 Welsh rugby fans, you never know!!!

well, as I predicted a blood and guts game, one of the best Northern Hemisphere games for a long time! The best side won - by a long chalk. England will take solace from a number of good individual performances and could well be a force to be reckoned with in a year or two: Robshaw, Twelvetrees, Flood, Farrell, never write England off, But tonight belonged to Wales. A hard worked title

Llwyngyfarchiadau! Congratulations to a rapidly improving side. A few headaches for Gatland on the Lions tour!!!

Credit where credit is due . A dominant team won a convincing victory clap2.gif

On a side note that didn't affect the overall result the ref needs to be ticked off for his appalling series of scrum penalties a lot of which were down to dodgy play from the Welsh but if you can get away with it then that is part of the game....next year it will be different smile.png (I hope).

I've never been convinced of the need for southern Hemisphere referees, who have a different interpretation of the laws of the game, refereeing 6-Nations games SamsipEt, It was the same last week in the Wales v Scotland match. A record number of penalties were awarded by south African refereee Craig Joubert, who is a top ref, but was whistle happy on the day - as Steve Walsh was yesterday. A French or Irish Referee would probably have let the game flow more. That said, England need to regroup and not blame refereeing decisions for what was, on the day, a poor performance. If Wales can perform like this under Rob Howley, What are we going to be like with Warren Gatland back?
