Hi All,

I just got back from immigration, where one of my fellow teachers visas was rejected for renewal. He initially got it in December, and the school dicked around getting his work permit (Only got it yesterday, it's valid until March 2014). He still doesn't even have the letter from the TCT, which is required for his visa, as the school only sent a request for it 1 week ago (Even though they said they'd sent off the documents 3 months ago).

As a result, his 3 month Non Immigrant B is going to expire on Sunday, so he's going to goto Lao and get a new Non Immigrant B.

However, if he gets a new Non Immigrant B, will this potentially invalidate his work permit at all? (E.g. is the WP tied to his old visa at all?)
