Prime Minister Yingluck Asks For A Chance To Run Thailand Until Her Four-Year Term Expires

What does she mean "working for the people". We have seen her people become the very rich and friends and FAMILY. What about the other 95% of Thailand. Who is gonna help them?

The other 95% has got 300 Baht a day, or 15,000 a month. Even as we speak billions are (slowly) trickling down via ingenious schemes like the 'rice price pledging'. What more do you want, you bleading heart liberal socialist rolleyes.gif

Settle down folks. A small error in translation. The headline should read

Prime Minister Thaksin Asks For A Chance To Run Thailand Until His Four-Year Term Expires

and the headline is not referring to any goal sentence

She will probably get kicked out and 4 years down the line the court will say - oops - we made a mistake - sorry.

Probably the DEMS trying to dig up something like a cooking program on Television again.

It appears the Dems don't have to dig up anything. She is doing a good enough job herself.

Veruca Salt, the little brute,
Has just gone down the garbage chute
And She will meet as she descends
A rather different set of friends
A rather different set of friends
A rather different set of friends
A fish head, for example, cut
This morning from a halibut.
An oyster from an oyster stew,
A steak that no one else would chew,
And lots of other things as well,
Each with a rather horrid smell.
horrid smell
These are Veruca's new found friends
That she will meet as she descends,
These are Veruca's new found friends
The one's who spoiler her
Who indeed?
Who pandered to her every need?
Who turned her into such a brat?
Who are the culprits? Who did that?
The guilty ones now this is sad
Dear Old Mum and Loving Dad

Substitute by The Who
You think we look pretty good together
You think my shoes are made of leather

But I'm a substitute for another guy
I look pretty tall but my heels are high
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young, but I'm just back-dated, yeah

Substitute your lies for fact
I can see right through your plastic mac
I look all white, but my dad was black
My fine looking suit is really made out of sack

I was born with a plastic spoon in my mouth
The north side of my town faced east, and the east was facing south
And now you dare to look me in the eye
Those crocodile tears are what you cry
It's a genuine problem, you won't try
To work it out at all you just pass it by, pass it by

Substitute me for him
Substitute my coke for gin
Substitute you for my mum
At least I'll get my washing done

It's hard to be a Prime Minister when you're actually not. Sad Yingluck, you were only ever a pawn in your brothers game - and expendable. All this is just more of a smoke screen. The puppet master wants a hard ass in the seat with political clout and now the excuses have been flying as to why the voted PM is likely to be removed. I bet it was all originated from within PTP or Dubai or both. Ms Yinluck, welcome to the gutters of Thai politics. At least you got your feet wet, a healthy pension from now on and no doubt spoils from the skimming of your clan.

The Dems dig up something and PT use Tarit (DSI) to create something.

So please judge for yourself what's worse.

I'm surprised her brother didn't give her his valuable advise in this? Doesn't he want to see her continuing?

A few good excuses come immediately to mind, like "honest mistake", "confusion about the law" and making use of her female charms a teary eyed "I didn't know" rolleyes.gif

They already used the "please be fair" (victim) card.

.

More probable is that a single disgraced judge and not the court will say - oops.

Also more probable is that she is viewed as outliving her usefulness by the Party Financier and even though she could become PM the next day after being disqualified, she's dumped in favor of someone else more accpetable to the Party Financier's choosing.

Sorry to inform, but the 15,000 a month, although promised, was not implemented.

Sounds like she is admitting that something illegal was done, yet she begs to be treated fairly. And in another breath, she does not really want to be treated fairly but rather she is asking the "judges" to ignore the issue and forgive her. Please check all logic before entering the country.

I'm thinking of robbing a bank and if I get caught then I'm going to plead "can I get a job working in the bank'!!!

She could be toast now!!

Have any of our illustrious TV pundits given any thought to what happens if she is disqualified?

Replaced by another PTP puppet of Thaksin's, so what really is achieved?

Well, a lot of booze will be consumed by our in house pundits and we'll search around for a new butt to our comments. I take your point though. Maybe better the devil you know?

and the devil does in fact wear Prada

With regards to your first line of your statement... well, that depends on how fair the courts are in the future and how efficient and effective the political system is now.

In relation to your second line, this is a problem why? Rules are there to be followed, not bent, buckled or broken. Are you suggesting that breaking any political rule is OK, or should be ignored? If you want to do something and the system does not allow you to, try to get it changed. If the system won't allow for it to be changed, accept that there are reasons in place for which this law exists. Generally, anything in which using political influence for personal gain is open to be outlawed.

The traditional acceptance in politics, is that you make your money after office, not whilst in office. But in Thailand, it is almost as if people pay for voting to get into power and make money whilst in office the same as one may pay money to be trained as a blackjack dealer in the casino so that they could accept money from the players to rig the game in their favor in exchange for a share of the winnings. This is exactly what happens in modern Thailand.

Unfortunately, the government currently (and previously) appears to be filled with incompetents unqualified for their portfolios and not at all interested in performing the duties in which they were delegated though rather interested in selling their fruit before it has been delivered to them. Few people on either side are genuinely interested in changing or improving Thailand. This should concern Thai Land. This should have them shaking in their boots with the onset of ASEAN fast approaching. No Thai, even fat greedy poo yais from the democrat party who state openly their dislike and distrust for Farangs, or equally so greedy poo yais who have meetings alone with men in hotel rooms whilst they should be in parliament, then refusing to disclose what the purpose of the meeting was and who was present will gain from this.

Nicely put . . . clap2.gif . . . pity it's not going to make a blind bit of difference to the way things are done here now or in the future . . . thumbsup.gif

Even if it was true that her brother tells her what to do, surely thats far better than having the 'orrible' little Suthep whispering into the PM's ear all the time. Probably one of the most corrupt politicians on the planet.

PM-Yingluck begs for the chance to complete her four-year term ?

Surely she should be speaking about this to her brother, the one who appears to be unhappy with her failure to bring him home, and who now appears to be readying her replacement in anticipation of a 'Samak-moment' ?

Or is he not answering her Skype-calls these days ?

Dont you want me to work anymore? Please give me a chance. People have given me the chance for over a year. I want to work until the end of my tenure to prove the governments performance.

or more likely:-

Dont you want me to work anymore? Please give me a chance. People have given me the chance for over a year. I want to work until the end of my tenure to prove the governments profitability for my family. You can't get rid of me now, I have paved the way for a 2 trillion baht trough and I need to feed from it. Thailand's Treasury still has so much to offer me".

'Better the Devil you know'.....a phrase that stands true for almost everyone except Thai politics. Kick this one out get the new Devil in.

So why don't we just make this plain and simple to quote, reeeally simple:

"Dear people in Thailand, please give me a chance to enjoy my term as a (proxy) prime minister (puppet), so I can enjoy myself some more with big brothers sponsored money, paid by your expenses through our various SCAMS. Your money helps me to travel abroad for "diplomatic trips" with superdooper-cool-foreign ministers. Though I don't understand anything they say, the fun part is, going shopping afterwards, after public image photos have been taken all over the world.

Dear people, please give me another chance aka give moneeyyyyy, give me more, thank you!!! By, bye..."
