Information gathering...Health Insurance for an extended stay.....
You do not specify what kind of policies you have looked at. I am not sure if World Nomads still offer but you used to be able to get long stay/backpacker (but decent limits) for from memory up to 18 months to start. There used to be a couple of other similar options. I had one years ago with World Wide Insurance before moving to Nomads but that was many years ago. In-patient costs in Thailand have rocketed in the last couple of years and major international health insurers have unfortunately been jacking their prices as a result. -
