Guitar Teacher Needed

8 year old girls are generally too young to play. Their fingers are too small, it hurts after just a minute of trying to play, and they are almost always discouraged by the whole event. I've been teaching guitar for years and won't take any more primary students, girls OR boys. I HIGHLY recommend getting her started on keyboard lessons. Everything they learn on keys can then be applied to guitar as their hands grow and their grip grows strong enough, and a guitarist with an understanding of keys makes a MUCH better musician!

Thanks for all the replies !

I've been at the Music shop Theprasit/Sukhumvit, that's where we bought a guitar. They

where not offering lessons.

I will check out the other places - thanks for t he tips.

quandow, my daughter was first introduced to guitar playing at her regular school (Regents),

and has been taking private lessons for about 3 months. Unfortunately her teacher had to

go back to her country .... Based on your statement, I have asked my daughter and she said

she did not have any issues and insist on continuing with the guitar ! But I do appreciate your

feedback and concern.

thanks guys,

luudee
