A faisibility study for air condition already was on the "track"?

The german High-speed trains (Siemens) had the last years some problems, when the air-condition system crashed (only 33 celsius outside). Some people died inside the train-jail.)

Beside the tracks you need fences, on the highway to Chiangmai I have my master diploma for cow-slalom. The High-Speed trains have this diploma too? O.K., no fences.

Abhisit not needed: Thai voters.

Only 3 likes, votes are fading.

Even a topic about the weather or about lunch boxes gets more hits as that one with Abhisit in the headline.

Face it, Abhisit isn't a crowd puller.

Suppose his job is to try to put off government eratic notions and ideas that seemingly not thought through properly---promisses promisses is this governments game.

Better he is not the crowd puller like the P.M. and dep P.M. their job is the limelight rather than the good of the country.

No doubt on occasion difficult to understand Mick.....but never 'simple'.......now back to the topic, as talking about geo, interesting as it is, suggests you are running out of ideas

But we have to include Geo as he seems to actually fail to understand that the high speed train will be a TOTALLY different route. Including tunneling through hills etc. He also doesn't seem to understand that the high speed train is generally not good for transport use as it has Ltd tonnage capacity.

Just upgrading the current service and double tracking should cut about 3-4 hours of the current route to CM

So with all that in mind remind us WHY Thailand needs a high speed train link to chiang mai.

no one cares about Abhisit. and on top of that he is British. and army ranks stripped.

he was a PM once, could not deliver. he is pretty much yesterday.

Found the info-but some people are still having difficulties,, is there not a easy way out of the problem and after so many quotes you just automatically erase the Quote box, OR inform auto that the batch is full. so therefore stopping the problem before the horse bolts.

Tell me why would having both carry no benefit, they would compliment each other.....

on the top right left of the editing menu is something that looks like a light switch. there you can switch between a wysiwyg editor and a html code editor.

the later makes it easier to detlete some of the quotes inside the quotes, once you have understand how that html code works.

Cost to the country. Where the funds could be better spent..as others have said. What happens to the waste incinerators that will be needed to cope with the increasing waste that Thailand produces a currently dumps in landfill and at sea. To name just one impending problem/disaster.

A service is ONLY feasible IF it can pay for itself. Putting the country into debt for an additional 10-15 years is a good idea then..... I don't think so. I presume you do?

You've screwed the quotes again shock1.gif .......Thailand will do what most countries do regarding landfill, provide an alternative when space becomes tight. Poor reasoning as landfill is actually producing usable gas these days and is developed in many countries into acceptable agricultural land.

And again I didn't screw the quotes. The TV Android app did. But hopefully the latest update will not do it in the future.

Even though you are talking out of your a$$ about "usable gas" from landfills, where does the other 64 % of the garbage go? Or the 90% of sewage that goes untreated? Not to mention the thousands of tonnes of hazardous waste per year that Thailand generates. Yes right into waterways or ocean and dumped illegally some where.

Landfill gas utilization is a process of gathering, processing, and treating the gas to produce electricity, heat, fuels, and various chemical compounds. The number of landfill gas projects, which convert the methane gas that is emitted from decomposing garbage into power, went from 399 in 2005 to 519 in 2009 (Source Wiki) .......another point......Why do you guys insist on talking 'rubbish' on a thread about railways......I guess concentrating the discussion on what you know best.....the High speed track will be of benefit, especially in tandem with an improved freight rail network system....let's just get on with it, there will always be the near sighted moaners....it has always been this way....

When in office Abhisit slashed the funding to public hospitals and reversed the funding that came out of the two and three number lottery because his friend Chamlong considered gambling "un-Bhudist" and Abhisit loved it because why taking away the proceeds of the illegal lottery from his cronies and spending it on education?

Now the infrastructure is not so important. The roads are crumbling from Bangkok to Maesai and from Hatyai to Sisa-ket but who cares? The democrat party is in the game not to upset the status quo, development upsets the status quo and give rural people to become rich and possibly Thai people might take over from all the Chinese who overstayed their welcome already fourty years ago but still managed to get passports.

The 2 and 3 number lottery failed because the sellers were not handing in the stubs. There was a court case in Ranong and the government of the time lost (TRT)

ZhouZhou your post #67.

A junior school child could have replied with less hatred about ex P,M. Abhisit.

I can only think you are trying to wind up posters. I could compare the P.M and deputy as being not fit to run the job. That is not saying that others are the same, just a click--if your monetary face fits.

Just a suggestion--if it were possible wouldn't you swap chalerm for AbHisit---all sensible thinking persons would.
