I'd be all for deporting them, if only they wouldn't be back within the week. I'd also be doubly in favor of making them serve their sentence in the appealing prisons of the countries they come from. But that's a tough one to navigate. -

What’s the best area in Thailand for expats to settle for long-term living?
Difficult to get to. In the event of a medical emergency, death is often the end result. Nice beach but very overcrowded and the longtail boats have polluted the bay. I walked inland towards the cave and there were piles of trash everywhere. -

Have any vocal supporters of this Bill actually read the Bill's wording? Do they acknowledge that the provisions of the Bill are addressed by existing laws? Do they acknowledge that the wording is poorly written and can harm victims, and may not even be allowed under the US Constitution? No one voting against the Bill was in favour of allowing convicted sex crime offenders to remain any longer than their prison sentence. What they were voting against is a poorly written piece of legislation that may backfire and be used to delay removal of undesirables and to be challenged in court for years.- 2

Wise removes Long Stay Reason on Transfers
I did a transfer from Aus$ on Wednesday and the Long Stay reason had disappeared, much to my alarm. Then I realized I was already well over the 65K฿ minimum so not to worry for this month at least. So I decided on 'Rent or other property expenses' just to see what would happen - and it came out as foreign origin as usual in my BKK bank account.- 1
