A friend of mine told me about this place a few weeks ago and I thought I would pass on the information.

This is a new (only been open a few months) little place to have good coffee and fresh baked Danish pastry, croissants, muffins, baguettes, and quiche. It is called Na Na Croissant. It is owned by a French man and his Thai wife. There is room to sit indoors, though I prefer to sit at the outside tables that are in a nice tree-shaded area.

I have been there twice and the coffee and baked goods have been consistently good ... and very reasonably priced. Today I had two cappuccinos, a chocolate Danish, and a ham and cheese croissant while I was there and got a baguette and small quiche to take away. Total cost was 165 baht.

Here is a Google Maps link to show you the location. It is out to the southeast near the intersection of 1141 and 106. they are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you get lost or need directions, you can give them a call at 086-586-5405.

Maybe I'll see you there.

I've bought some stuff from there and, as you say it's good and well priced but my last experience wasn't so encouraging. Having decided to drive there rather than Rimping (in the other direction) to buy some decent bread was met with

"No bread today"

"Mai pen rai. Tomorrow?"

"Mai ru"

A good bakery round there is long overdue but when will these small businesses learn that customers need some level of consistency? I don't care if they don't bake loaves every day - every other day, twice a week (heck, even once a week) would be fine - I just don't want to drive in the opposite direction to the store I know will have what I want simply on the off chance.

The bread (and particularly the almond croissants) were really good and I really want to support them, but if I'm heading home past another bread shop there'll be a limit on the times I'll take a chance on it being Lucky Baking Day.

You might keep the number (9n the first post) in your phone to check before you go.

Is strange though. They bake bread every day, as far as I can tell. What time of day did you head that way?

Price of a cold Latte?

I don't have a definite answer for you but I can't imagine it is more than 30 baht. First time I went there, I had two hot cappuccinos and a danish and two muffins. Was about 90 baht for the lot.
