Flights

Ok 2 questions (I have been out of the loop)

If I leave on a ninternational flight from Thailand in May what airport will it be from?

If I take a domestic flight to BKK (airasia) which airport will it be to (in may)?

The new airport supposedly opens in June, so it's still DM for you.

Did they say what year June would be in anyone?

Hi Sierra1

I think you will find there is a June in each year! at least there has been up until now!! :o

From what i've read i'd say theres no chance of any commercial flights going through the Suvarnahumbi airport this year.

Oops, badly worded, try again! They said June, did they say what year?

Ahh, so it MIGHT be June 2007 then!

Dec 200? is most likely! :o

Hi

Someone posted photos recently ( which I now can't find) showing work in progress at the new airport. An awful lot still to be done!

I think it is wishful thinking if they say they want to open this year i.e. 2006.

Also mentioned on Thai Visa were problems with runways. I believe breaking up due to inferior concrete and thats before any planes land!

TBWG :o
