Hi, i was just wanting to ask if anyone on here had done a 'non Imm O' visa application at Chiang Mai Immigration in the last month or so, and if so what are the current doc's needed, as i remember last year they added a few new things to the list and i'm doing my application this week so want to make sure i have everything ready before i go.

The list i have right now is;

Passport copy's

Marriage license

copy of wifes ID

bank letter and statement

photos

house registration

map

photo of me and my family

Application form and fee

No copies - you must have the actual wife - most important item if you are talking about a Thai wife extension of stay. Also be sure to have her home register copy. And in addition to marriage certificate a KR2 or KR22 (ledger entry of marriage) that is current I suspect will be require (it is at most locations now) and can be obtained from district office.

ha ha yea my wife for sure will be there with me, but i need a copy of her ID too, i just wanted to be sure they hadent tagged any more requirements on to the existing ones as last year they added family photos and map of where my house is.

We were asked also to prove that the marriage was subsisting (genuine) and had to sign a statement to that effect. Apparantly this office is /was concerned about a number of bogus renewal applications for Non O s based on marriage.

All persons going for an extension based on marriage are asked to sign such statement.

Topic title is wrong along with topic.

Title should say Extension of Stay based upon having a Thai Wife requirements in Chiang Mai.

You do not get non-o visa.
