Rimmer
Ex-Politician Engages In Unethical Fund RaisingPATTAYA:--A 44-year-old female and former Chonburi politician was arrested after being caught with 14,000 meth pills. After losing her re-election bid, she became a drug courier to pay her campaign debt and the hospital bills of her ailing mother. Her new boss was a Chonburi prison inmate. The suspect was identified as Mrs. Natthanan or Neung Rattanaveerakarn, age 44, who is the former chairman of Nong Heang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Chonburi province; and the kamnan inspector of the same area.Police seized the evidence of 7 packs of amphetamine totaling 14,000 pills, a mobile phone, and the car she was driving to deliver the drugs, a black Toyota Altis. The arrest resulted after the police were informed by their spy that Mrs. Natthanan would be driving the car to deliver amphetamines to customers at the motorway road on the entrance side to Bangkok, Tambon Takheantia, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. So the police brought the forces of the police team to watch for her, until they saw the suspicious car parked on the side of the road, and saw her throw away stuff out of the car. So the police asked to search the stuff, and found 1 pack of amphetamines of 2,000 pills, and arrested Mrs. Natthanan, the car driver.Full story:http://www.pattayadailynews.com/en/2013/04/08/ex-politician-engages-in-unethical-fund-raising/ --PATTAYA DAILY NEWS 2013-04-

Xonax
I guess that getting an honest job didn´t strike her mind! Politicians and Drug dealers both chose their profession because of the easy money.

tragickingdom
It says more about the show that they make out of it and the disrespect for the rights of the accused to put her on display than about the lady. She obviously fell on hard times and at the very least she tried to take care of her ailing mother. Besides being a courier means than you take all the risk for a very small reward. It would have been better to put the big boss on display. That will never happen, Edited April 9, 2013 by Rimmer

It would have been better to put the big boss on display. That will never happen, My wife fell on hard times long before I met her as I am sure many thousands of women do but my wife never had anything to do with drugs as the majority of women don't. They just pick themselves up and try something else. I have NO sympathy at all for her. If she had not been caught would she have done it again? I am sure she would nor do I think this was the first time. She could have sold her car and got a job, maybe not paying that much, but something.
theajarn
THB2,500 for each pack. Not the brightest of criminals either. Absolutely no sympathy to these scumbags and doubly so for politicians.
